The EV Motorist Green Book is a modern travel and infrastructure guide promoting electric vehicle adoption among Black drivers while honoring the legacy of the historic Negro Motorist Green Book, first published in 1936 by Victor H. Green to help Black travelers safely navigate segregated America.

Through an electric vehicle road trip from Washington, D.C. to Miami, Florida, Integrated Solutions mapped charging infrastructure, historic Black communities, HBCUs, cultural landmarks, and Black-owned businesses along the route. The project documents opportunities to expand EV charging in communities where travelers can feel safe, welcomed, and connected to local culture.

The guide highlights how equitable EV infrastructure can reduce pollution, lower transportation costs, and create workforce opportunities in communities that often experience higher energy burdens and environmental impacts.
